Brooks and Martha Jessup have been making friends and helping people in Brunswick and the Golden Isles since 1981, when they opened Chaps, a successful men's shop, in the St. Simons Village; and after that Brooks Jessup & Associates Real Estate.

Having grown up on St. Simons Island, Brooks views the island from a unique perspective. He remembers the days of the wooden causeway bridges leading to the home of fewer than two thousand fortunate islanders. Now he and Martha delight in sharing the happiness of the magical corner of the world with their friends - some old friends and some yet to be known.

Too, they see their real estate clients a little differently than most brokers and agents do. To Brooks and Martha it's the enduring relationships that really matter. Relationships built by taking the time to listen, really listen, to the dreams and individual needs of their clients and then doing everything possible to help make those dreams come true. It's no wonder so many of their friends today were clients yesterday.

Accomplishments: as a team, they have combined experience of over 27 years. They work for Buyers and Sellers and both have their Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation and the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation. Their primary area of specialization includes all of Glynn County, but especially St. Simons Island and Brunswick.

Special interest/hobbies: they enjoy baseball and football but their favorite hobbies are boating and fishing.
